I actually feel a little sorry for him and think that Kim Basinger in the real evil doer here. She released that private recording to the media without regard for her child's own torment. I'm sure her daughter is being teased to death at school and she is completely embarrassed every time she has to see it played somewhere. Talk about a personal nightmare for a child. Kim Basinger should lose custody of the girl for that act alone.

As for Alec… Should he have said those things? No. But knowing the tiny bit I do about the divorce and what they are all going through as a family I can somewhat understand where it came from. No-one outside that family has any real right to judge because they don't know what lead up to it, or what factors and involved. As parents we all lose our cool sometimes. He's mostly guilty of not being aware of what leaving evidence can lead to.
