Hello, everybody. I'm Brett.

I'll be turning 38 in about a week, I'm married with two beautiful daughters (9 and 7 in a month) and I live in San Diego. By profession, I'm a software developer - though I let complacency get the better of me with my last job (which almost lasted a record 7 years) and I now find myself nearly unemployable. I did just start a new gig last week, and it's been...unsettling. I'm too old for that shit.

I don't drink or smoke (my only vice would be wimmens - and even those are all virtual these days), so I probably won't be joining in with any cigar/whiskey conversations. Yeah, I know - killjoy.

My hobbies are reading, drawing, and spending way too much time on my PC. I also collect a lot of crap.

Hmmm..not very interesting, is it? Oh well, that's me - not very interesting.

Out of boredom last time when you mentioned the blogs I haven't been able to find the option to start my own if I wanted to.

I will assume that is a problem with the settings for whatever group I'm in and not a personal slight

We've looked everywhere to see why you've been singled out, but your board rights are no different from anyone else's... So "everyone" doesn't hate you. Nope, it's way bigger than that. The whole universe hates you.

I can get to my blog site, I jsut can't add anything now. I was able to back in March 2007. Now I can't, unless I had a brain fart and forgot how to do it.

I think I know what the problem is, but I'll have to play around with it to know if I'm right.

Once again, pray that I don't blow up the forum.

If you figure it out, tell me. I've looked several times and haven't been able to find any settings to fix this.

Do you need a non-admin account to test with?

I just assumed the blogs were/are a plugin and somewhere somehow someone updated the forum software and broke the blogs because the link from it etc is in a customised template.

If you get this working I'd also like to know what the problem was.
