Full Version: Lesbo-action or not, she's still too-damn-auld for that shit

I can remember when I thought Madonna was a pretty hot piece of ass. Granted, that was about 20 years ago. Lucky Star and Like a Virgin were still listenable and a Madonna movie (Desperately Seeking Susan) actually made a little money.

She was a dirty whore way before Xtina jumped on the dirty-whore bandwagon.

And then, many moons after her youth had begun to fade and the toils of a life of excess had begun to show through, she piggybacked on the hotness of Xtina and Britney for a few more minutes of relative-hotness with the famous lesbo-kiss on...well, whatever that awards show was.

But now she's just old. And she's in some serious denial and hoping to get a few more minutes of hotness by making out on stage with one of her backup dancers.

Admittedly, Madonna does look good for an 65 year-old woman. But it's still kind of sad.

I agree completely. But here's the problem...

Aparently there are some baby-boomers out there somewhere who still think she's relevant, and this is probably not going to dissuade her from making more and more music.

Her time might be passed, but I guess there are still people out there that like her stuff. I am sure there are some out there that think the same about the Stones and the other older rockers.

Ah, so you want the long explanation, huh?

Okay. I have a php file called "build_thumbnails.php" that...well, it builds a page of thumbnails with links to the full images. It was coded to only accept images with three character file extensions ("jpg," "gif," bmp," etc), but the "jpeg" extension kept popping up (I also have a program that renames files /changes file extensions, but I often forget to do this before uploading the files). So I rewrote the build_thumbnails page to deal with this 4 character file extension in addition to the 3 character extensions. Except for one little problem: the extensions were referred to in two places in the code and I only fixed one of them.

So there are now two rogue versions of the build_thumbnails.php file hanging around out there (one that works semi-well and another that doesn't work at all when building the links to the full images) and one that works correctly. the one I used for the opening post was one of those rogue version, which I replaced with the correct one.

I really do realize that you had assumed my "Fixed." was in the vein of a TJNR "fixed" wherein one makes a smartass correction to a previous post and that you weren't asking for the detailed explanation of what was fixed, but I figured I'd torture you all with it anyway.

Ha!

My hunh was two pronged. One was indeed the TJNR fixed. The other was because of what Ted wrote. What in the hell was he talking about? I have no idea what it was all about.

But thank you for your explanation.

Oh, I left out part of my explanation.

I have an error 404 (no, not him) page for links to non-existent files on my site that Ted was referring to.

Ahh, now I understand. I thought Ted might be hitting the bottle again.
