A little background on Victoria:
She is borderline auld (she will be 34 this year)
She was on the Swedish Olympic ski team
She was first runner-up to Miss Sweden and represented Sweden in the Miss World competition
She has modeled for several well-known companies (Chanel, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Valentino, and Giorgio Armani, Guess).
...and then she became famous outside of Sweden in 1996, thanks to Playboy.
She was the December Playmate of the month and won the Playmate of the Year title in 1997.
Her newfound fame convinced her that hotness is the same as talent and she made an album that went gold in Sweden, but...well, I only just heard about it when looking for interesting "Victoria Silvstedt facts."
She has been the token "hot Swedish chick" in a few American movies, but has had more serious roles outside of the US - her latest is an Italian film. She's fluent in four languages (as are most Europeans).
She has been in loads of Playboy special editions.
I had a neighbor who was from Sweden and who was just as curvaceous, blonde and was even cuter than Victoria (and this was after popping out two cute little blonde daughters). It was a sad day when she moved out of the neighborhood.
