If you're a redneck from Macclesfield, North Carolina and have discipline problems with your thirteen year-old child, what better way to teach that young rapscallion a lesson than tying him to a tree? And by "tie," I mean that you've got to bind him so tightly that the little sucker can't move. If he escapes he won't be learnin' no lesson, no sirree bob.

We've had a few "Mother of the Year" candidates, but this is the first "Father of the Year." What bright futures this kid's two younger siblings have ahead of them.

Just another sick twisted story! I can't believe that the boy was tied up Wednesday nigh and then not checked on until 4 PM the next day. It makes me wonder if there isn't more to this story. One could only hope that they take the kids away from this monster.

Should see what's making the news here this week. Two 18 month old twins pretty much starved to death in their own home and the parents just left the bodies there.
