I think we're all busy and depressed as we watch our retirement accounts shrinking. Luckily, most of us have at least twenty years before we really need them (Ted and Zot are the obvious exceptions to this rule).

Minus the depression. And the shrinking retirement plan. I'll never be able to retire!

My online activities have dropped off to nothing. I stopped Twittering, I rarely post anything on TJNR, and post here even less. I've been spending time with real-life friends and thinking about work. I've also been trying to avoid election discussions as much as possible, but failing from time to time.

I enjoy discussions and debate, but this election cycle is full of people who are dead-set in their beliefs and completely unwilling to change their opinions (including me, for the time being). The only thing each side can do now is throw insults at each other in the guise of debate. Democrats are sheeple for listening to mainstream news and Republicans are living in a fantasy world created by FOX News.

Yay. In a few more days things might change, but I doubt it. One side will be doing victory dances and saying "I told you so" and the other side will bitch and moan about the end of America. We only have to wait to find out which side is which.

Yeah, I check in from time to time here adn at TJNR. My posting has dropped of some. Hopefully when things get back to normal I will be more active. Hope you all are doing as good as possible right now.
